Temperatures are expected to range from 21°C to 26°C on Saturday afternoon, with a mix of clouds and sunny intervals and only a slight chance of isolated inland showers, according to the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM).
On Saturday evening, and especially overnight, more pronounced showers and occasional thunderstorms are forecast. In some areas, significant rainfall is possible, though the extreme south of the country is likely to avoid the wave of showers moving in from the west and northwest.
Sunday will see a mix of cloudy periods and showers, with intervals of sunshine. Localised intense showers and thunderstorms remain a possibility. Highs will range between 16°C and 22°C, with winds moving from west to northwest and shifting towards the north-northwest.
From Sunday night into Monday, showers, potentially with thunderstorms, may continue before gradually moving southeast. Towards the end of the night, new precipitation may already reach the coast and the northwest of the country.
