A 32-year-old man from Lommel was seriously injured in a stabbing attack in Antwerp on Saturday evening.
He was taken to hospital but is no longer in a critical condition. The police have arrested a suspect.
The incident occurred around 21:30 on Huybrechtsstraat in Borgerhout. A previous altercation is believed to have led to the incident, but the exact circumstances are still under investigation.
The suspect, a 63-year-old man from Antwerp, was apprehended and taken to hospital for treatment, according to police reports.
