A person with a gunshot wound was treated in Molenbeek at around 22:40 on Saturday, according to Walter Derieuw, spokesperson for the Brussels fire brigade.
Emergency services were dispatched to Rue de l’École for a gunshot injury. The victim was stabilised at the scene and taken to the hospital.
