Three people were injured following two fights that broke out in the early hours of Friday in Antwerp, according to local police. The two incidents may be related.
The first brawl took place around midnight in Provinciestraat, where a fight broke out between several people. Two men were injured after being stabbed. They had to be taken to the hospital.
At around 01:00, the police were informed that a man had been stabbed in Vandenpeereboomstraat. The victim, a 32-year-old man, was also taken to the hospital but his life is not in danger.
The police arrested a suspect during the night. The investigation will determine whether the two incidents are linked.
