Several types of spreadable bread toppings are being recalled due to the presence of a toxin produced by fungi.
The warning was issued on Thursday by the Conserverie et Moutarderie Belge and the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (FASFC) due to excessive levels of the toxin ochratoxin A.
The recall concerns 30 types of spreads in glass jars under the brand names "La Vache qui regarde passer les trains", "La Délicieuse", "The veggie family" and "Koro". The affected products were sold at various places.

Consumers are asked to not to ingest the affected products and to return them to the point of sale where they were purchased. According to Conserverie et Moutarderie Belge, customers will received a refund.
However, not all batches sold are being recalled. Below is a list of the products and batch numbers concerned:
