An 87-year-old cyclist from Leopoldsburg was killed in a traffic accident on Monday morning.
He collided with a lorry around 8:45am on Dorpsstraat, near a pedestrian crossing.
The man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Police from the Kempenland zone secured the area and carried out investigations.
The Limburg Public Prosecutor’s Office was informed and appointed a traffic expert to examine the circumstances of the incident.
