Petrol prices in Belgium on Friday will reach a level unseen since 2013, according to the latest update from the Federal Public Service Economy.
Belga News Agency reports that the maximum price of 95 (E10) petrol will rise by 4.2 cents to €1.6890 per litre.
This is the highest price ever reached for the current version E10 petrol, which contains up to 10% bioethanol, compared to 5% in its previous version.
Petrol 98 (E5) will also be more expensive. The maximum price will increase by 5.1 cents to €1.7840 per litre.
