Train traffic between Lokeren and Beervelde, on the Ghent-Antwerp railway line, has been suspended in both directions on Tuesday morning after an overloaded truck struck an overhead line, reported railway managing company Infrabel.
The truck, a high-loader, struck the overhead lines near the Nieuwe Molenstraat level crossing in Lokeren around 09:10, causing damage.
Replacement buses are being provided.
