A body found on Monday in a wooded area in Onhaye, Namur Province, is believed to be that of five-year-old Tyméo, who had been missing since 27 June, the Namur Public Prosecutor’s Office said on Monday evening.

The child’s body was discovered in undergrowth in Onhaye.

A formal identification has not yet been completed. However, prosecutors and investigators said that various elements suggest the body is indeed Tyméo’s, beginning with the location where it was found.

Tyméo disappeared while in the care of his father, Bryan Brigou, on 27 June.

His father is still being sought by the authorities.
