The Flemish employment service, VDAB, has recorded 242,554 job vacancies over the past 12 months, down 13% on the previous 12-month period, it said on Tuesday.
The decline was even steeper in some sectors.
Vacancies in hospitality fell by 20%, while job offers in machinery and equipment manufacturing dropped by 21%.
In financial services, the number of vacancies decreased by 27%.
VDAB also reported an 18% fall in job offers for temporary agency work.
