Seyntex revealed its new equipment for the Belgian Army at this week’s International Military Show, which took place in Villepinte in the suburbs of Paris.

The awarding of the contract is the culmination of an 18-month-long selection procedure which began last year when the Belgian military decided its equipment needed an upgrade.

The winning companies will work together to produce a multi-layer operational uniform composed of complementary parts, underwear, lattice and additional protections.

The showcase event, along with the fact that the competition for the Belgian contract was fierce and therefore the winners were highly regarded, has put the Flemish company in the spotlight.

Several countries are now looking at Seyntex products with interest. While this has yet to translate into signed deals, the Belgian contract is acting as a business card which is persuading many militaries to look Seyntex’s way.
