298 people set swimming pool "bomb" world record in Ghent

A group of 298 people jumped simultaneously into the Olympic sports pool of the LAGO Gent Rozebroeken at 5.30 pm on Saturday, achieving the world record for most number of people symultanously making a swimming pool “bomb”.

“It was a question of celebrating our 10 years and the restorations carried out,” explains the director of the center Thomas de Vetter.

The first attempt was successful and Guinness World Records was present to register the record.

The 298 correctly performed “bombs” is an improvement of 66 people compared to the previous record.
