The Tour de France organisation has criticised what appears to be three Belgian spectators' behaviour during the cycling event.

Jonas Vingegaard, the eventual stage winner, would have expected to be surrounded by fellow cyclists during the 11th stage.

However, if he turned to his left, he could see a Belgian spectator running onto the road, fully dressed in a Red Devils jersey and a Belgium flag, with another one completely shirtless with a flare in hand. A third man can be seen in the background, sporting a Belgium cycling shirt and another flag.

Visibly irritating the Danish rider, the incident may harm the image of Belgian cycling fans.

The biggest rebuttal came from the Tour de France organisation team who reminded spectators on Twitter of the proper measures to take while assisting the event.
