A man was killed on Friday evening in Deurne (Antwerp) during a shootout in a street in the Sportpaleis district, local police said.
Details of the shooting were not released immediately by the police, who have erected a security perimetre at the scene.
The area has been searched but no one has been arrested yet, police said on Friday evening. All leads remain open, they added.
