A mother and her 8-year-old daughter have gone missing in Liège after not being seen since Tuesday evening.
According to a police statement, Bénédicte Demoulin and her daughter Léa boarded a train from the coastal city of Oostende and arrived at the Liège-Guillemins station at 09:00 on Friday, 15 July.
They reportedly spent the weekend at the 'HEB' hotel on Koningsstraat in Oostende and were last seen departing the hotel at around 19:30 on Tuesday, 19 July.
Police descriptions
The police have provided descriptions of both individuals and have asked members of the public to call them at 0800/30300 or Child Focus at 116000 if they have seen anybody matching these descriptions.

Bénédicte, 35, is 1.77 metres tall, with medium-length blond hair in a bob and tattoos on both forearms. She was last spotted wearing a blue shirt and denim shorts and carrying a grey wheeled bag.
Léa, her 8-year-old daughter, stands between 1.40 and 1.50 metres tall and has long blonde hair. She was last seen in a pink t-shirt.
