Belgian royal Princess Delphine, along with her husband James O’Hare, have made a surprise appearance at Belgium’s iconic Tomorrowland dance music festival. Spotted by Flemish media VM Nieuws, the princess stated that she had come to the festival to dance.

“When my husband and I go to a family party or an event where there is dancing, we let ourselves go. We are having fun,” the princess told the media. The princess added that she was a “big fan of techno” and had come to dance to Tomorrowland’s large techno line-up.

This year’s Tomorrowland features numerous famous electronic and techno acts, such as Armin van Buureen, Martin Garrix, Tiësto, Steve Aoki and others.

The princess is well known for her love for dancing, having appeared on the last season of the Flemish version of Dancing with the Stars. “In the show, I was able to choose a dance and I chose to dance to techno,” the princess reminded.

Princess Delphine is not the first royal to make a festival appearance. Back in 2017, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde visited Tomorrowland. Last year, Prince Laurent went to the eco-conscious music festival Paradise City.

This year’s Tomorrowland festival has attracted music fans from all over the world. In total, it is estimated that some 600,000 people will pass through Tomorrowland’s gates. The festival is widely viewed as one of Belgium’s best music festivals, and regularly features on lists of must-see festivals in the world.
