A car slammed into a gas distribution terminal in Court-Saint-Étienne, Walloon Brabant, on Monday evening, causing a gas leak, the province’s rescue services reported.
The motorist lost control of the vehicle while trying to swerve on Avenue des Combattants. The vehicle hit the distribution terminal, then overturned.
The occupant of the car was slightly injured.
Firefighters from the Wavre station were called in shortly before 6:00 p.m. The road was closed to traffic and the intervention of the gas and electricity network operator, Ores, was required.
