Since 7:45 a.m. on Sunday, rail traffic has been interrupted between Hasselt (Limburg) and Aarschot (Flemish Brabant) in both directions, as announced by the rail infrastructure manager Infrabel.

The problem in question is a fault in the power supply of the signalling system and catenaries.

Infrabel technicians went to the site to resolve the breakdown.

It is not known how long the disturbances will last. SNCB has deployed replacement buses to make up for the interrupted journey.
