Fashion website De Bijenkorf.be was named best active online store in Belgium on Thursday evening at the BeCommerce Awards presented by the Belgian e-commerce federation.
The judges gave De Bijenkorf.be the nod over fellow nominees Blancheporte, Gofluo, Sleepworld and Bpost.
The award for the best webshop also includes a prize of €5,000 from PostNL.
The jury said it was impressed by the approach of De Bijenkorf.be, “an extremely professional webshop, where the customer is central at all levels.”
Other awards presented on Thursday evening included the sustainability award, which went to Tongeren-based Rajapack.be, a company that specialises in sustainable packaging, office products and warehouse supplies.
The BeCommerce Innovation Award and the BeCommerce Logistics Award both went to Bpost, while the BeCommerce Public Award went to Sleepworld, a Belgian family business that manufactures sleeping accessories.
