The parent company of WhatsApp, Meta, has confirmed user complaints that the international messaging app used by millions of people is not operating on Tuesday morning.
Users around the world reported that the app was no longer functioning. As a result, Meta (which also owns Facebook and Instagram) has verified that the app is not currently available.
"We're working hard to get WhatsApp back up and running for everyone as quickly as possible," Meta added.
