Proximus will increase the prices of a large part of its services on 1 January. These increases will be in the order of 4–6%, according to the telecom company.

The company's last price increase was on 1 May, when Flex packages went up from €3 to €4 per month. From January onwards, Proximus will charge an extra €3 to €4.5 per month for most packages. Fixed internet is also affected by these increases.

The Internet Maxi subscription will be €3 more expensive at €54.99 per month. Internet Essential, Proximus’ cheapest subscription, will remain at €25 per month.

Proximus once again cited high inflation as the reason for the price increases. “This leading to a significant increase in costs, particularly for salaries, energy and the price of technological equipment,” the company stated.
