Two men have been arrested following a burglary at the home of British footballer Raheem Sterling in the county of Surrey, south of London.

According to British media reports, jewelry worth £300,000 (about €350,000) was stolen.

The Chelsea player, who is a member of the England squad at the World Cup in Qatar, returned home last weekend.

Surrey police are investigating a possible link to a second burglary in the area.
