The first names of the second edition of the Core Festival were unveiled on Tuesday with Angèle and alt-J among the headliners. Core Festival will take place on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 May 2023 in Osseghem Park in Brussels.

The event will once again offer a total immersion of music, nature and art, with a mix of international bands and DJs complemented by local Belgian artists.

Brussels’ pop princess and international sensation Angèle has been announced as the headliner for the first day of the festival.

The soul band NxWorries will return to Brussels – which includes the singer and multi-instrumentalist Anderson Paak and hit producer Knxledge are also among the highest profile names announced on Tuesday.

Belgian duo Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul, plus electronic acts The Blessed Madonna, Romy, HAAi and DOMi & JD Beck will also be performing on Saturday on the stage just a stone’s throw from the Atomium.

On Sunday, British indie rockers alt-J are also set to perform as headliners, with Denis Sulta, Honey Dijon, KOKOROKO, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Dutch act Goldband.

“We can’t wait to get back to Belgium to perform in front of our amazing fans and eat our weight in fricandelles”, said alt-J about their presence at the Core Festival. Tickets will be available for pre-sale from Friday at 11am.

Tickets will go sale on Monday 19 December at 3pm. Pre-registration is already possible via the festival's website.
