Billie Eilish is the first act announced to headline Pukkelpop festival on Friday 18 August 2023.
The announcement was broadcast on Wednesday from a big screen on top of a container that shows a running countdown. Billie Eilish performed at Pukkelpop in 2019. She was 17 years old at the time and became the youngest performer to headline the festival.
The pop star's performance in August will be her only concert in Belgium this year. Pukkelpop has called her "one of the most treasured singer/songwriters of her generation." The artist's album 'Happier Than Ever' topped the charts in 17 countries worldwide, including the UK and the US; Eilish has won seven Grammys.
