A cannabis plantation with 3,392 plants was discovered in Beverlo (Beringen) on Thursday by the Beringen-Ham-Tessenderlo police.
Six suspects were apprehended, according to the local police, who said the cannabis was found to be of a high quality.
Investigators conducted two searches on Thursday. They found the object of the crime spread across several rooms in a shed. They also unearthed bags containing a total of 25 kilos of cannabis from previous harvests.
