The wholesaler and distributor of organic products Delibio is recalling batches of Bioporc brand of saucissons (dry sausages) on Monday in consultation with the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (Afsca).
The recall is due to the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that can cause listeriosis – a serious infection that primarily affects newborns, older adults and pregnant women.
The products in question are 200-gram plain and green pepper flavour saucissons. These products were offered for sale from 20 to 24 March 2023.
The use-by date (UBD) of the plain dry sausages is 13/05/2023. They carry batch numbers 123072265 and 123073203.

The sell-by dates (SLED) for the green pepper dry sausages are 13/05/2023 and 20/05/2023 and they carry the batch numbers 123073182 and 123080189.
Delibio asks its customers not to consume these products and to return them to the point of sale where they were purchased.
