A suspect has been arrested after a robbery on Saturday at a food shop in Lasne, the Walloon Brabant Public Prosecutor’s Office said on Monday.
Police arrested an individual on Monday who denies any involvement in the robbery.
Two hooded individuals armed with a handgun and a knife reportedly entered the Carrefour shop along State Road in Lasne at about 19:45 on Saturday.
Threatening staff, the individuals demanded the contents of the till.
They then attempted to lock an employee in a storage room but were prevented from doing so by two customers, forcing the suspects to flee on foot.
