A primary school teacher in Deinze, East Flanders, has been suspended for sending nude photos to pupils on multiple instances, reports Het Laatste Nieuws.
The local police and the Public Prosecutor’s Office said on Friday that a complaint had been filed and an investigation was underway after a teacher was accused of sending nude photos to several pupils at the school.
The suspected teacher taught fourth grade at the Leernest school in Bachte-Maria-Leerne, a neighbourhood of Deinze.
The school’s headmaster confirmed that a disciplinary investigation had been opened.
"The investigation is ongoing, but in the interest of the investigation we cannot communicate much about it," said the spokesman for the East Flanders Public Prosecutor's Office.
