A 49-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run in Tervuren on Sunday morning.
The woman’s body was found just off the Quatre Bras area in Tervuren, in the Flemish Brabant.
The reports were confirmed by the Leuven Public Prosecutor’s Office.
"The lifeless body of a woman was found on the side of the road at around 5:00 on Sunday," stated prosecutor’s spokesperson Julie Plevoets. “The prosecutor’s office was contacted, upon which the lab and the law doctor were sent to the scene.”
“Initial findings, including debris from a car, already showed that the woman was the victim of a collision, which is why the traffic expert is also investigating,” Plevoets adds. “Apart from the debris, there are currently no clues to a possible perpetrator.”
