The fire in a bar on the Rue de Louvain in Brussels probably started after a molotov cocktail had been thrown through the window, confirmed the Public public prosecutor's office.

On Sunday night around 3:00 AM, the Brussels fire service was called for a fire in a bar, located on the ground floor of a three-storey building. One person was present on the first floor, two people on the second, and two people on the thrid floor. The fire service managed to get everyone out of the building, using two aerial ladders.

The Brussels public prosecutor's office has opened an investigation for intentional arson by night in an inhabited building.
