The Immoweb website that offers property for rent or for sale has launched its platform for free real estate estimation, they announced on Monday.
According to the National Bank of Belgium, real estate represents an average of 86.3% of the assets of a Belgian household. It is therefore important to know the value of one’s apartment, home or villa.
The platform, which is intended to be complementary to the service real estate agents offer, was developed based on the Immoweb database, "in particular on the 300,000 most recent announcements" on the website.
The user encodes a series of parameters (address, region, etc.). The tool then uses artificial intelligence and the "principle of machine learning" to determine how these features interact.
