Six wine bars in Belgium have been named among the best in the world by Wine Spectator magazine.

Wine Spectator, an American magazine, ranks the best wines and the restaurants with the best wine lists in the world every year. Out of 3791 wine bars on its best of 2019 list, it named six Belgian wine bars.

The restaurants are Convento in Leuven, Paul de Pierre in Maarkedal, Dome in Antwerp, The Glorious in Antwerp, Pazzo Restaurant and Wine Bar in Antwerp, and Restaurant Marcel in Antwerp.

This is the first time on the list for Convento while Paul de Pierre is a staple on Wine Spectator's best list, Le Soir reports.
