The Badminton World Federation has selected four Belgian officials for next year's Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris: Bert Vanhorenbeeck, Aurore Lequatre, Kamasha Robertson-Martens and Julien Nys.

"Never before have so many officials from the same country been selected", Badminton Vlaanderen enthused on Wednesday.

Bert Vanhorenbeeck, the first Belgian to referee a world championship final in 2013 and previously selected to referee at the 2016 Rio Olympics, has been appointed "umpire" for the Paris Olympics next year.

Aurore Lequatre will be line judge for the second time in a row. Kamasha Robertson-Martens will be responsible for technical matters at the Olympic and Paralympic Games, while Julien Nys will officiate as refereeing coordinator at the Paralympic Games.
