Suspect arrested in case of limbs found in floating fridge

A suspect was arrested on Thursday in the case of arms and legs found in a fridge floating on the Albert Canal at Hermalle-sous-Argenteau, Liège Province, the Liège public prosecutor’s office said, confirming a report in La Dernière Heure.

The suspect was apprehended on Thursday morning as he was preparing to take off for Korea from Zaventem. Later on Thursday, he was questioned by the Liège Federal Judicial Police (PJF), who are in charge of the investigation. He will be brought before an examining magistrate on Friday.

The discovery took place on Tuesday. A witness who had seen the floating fridge contacted the police, paving the way for the discovery of the four limbs, which belonged to a woman.
