Due to the pilots' strike, at least 96 flights by Irish low-cost airline Ryanair at Charleroi airport will be cancelled this weekend: 50 on Saturday and at least 46 flights on Sunday, the airport announced on its website.

The airport previously announced that Ryanair would cancel 28 flights on Saturday, but that number has since gone up to 50. It has also become clear that Sunday will see at least 46 cancellations. These include return flights to Venice, Riga, Tangier, Nîmes, Biarritz and Seville. The full list can be found here.

The strike only affects Ryanair flights operated by Belgian pilots; other flights operated by the airline will take place as scheduled. Travellers are advised to check the Ryanair and airport websites regularly to see if anything has changed about their situation.
