Another person died at the Tomorrowland festival in the Antwerp municipality of Boom on Saturday, the Antwerp Public Prosecutor's Office confirmed. It concerns a 35-year-old visitor from Thailand.

The person was found unconscious on the festival site around midnight and was still taken to hospital, but died there. So far, nothing is known about the cause of death. An investigating judge has been appointed and an autopsy will take place, among other things.

Last weekend, an employee of the festival died at the campsite for crew members. According to initial findings by the Antwerp Public Prosecutor's Office, the death was drug-related, although investigations still have to show whether this is effectively the case.

Previous editions have also seen deaths at the festival. In 2019, for example, a 27-year-old man from India died. His death eventually turned out to be drug-related.
