German police have arrested several people suspected of burglarising safes.
Goods worth several million euros had been stolen when burglars stole a number of safes in the Berlin district of Charlottenburg on 19 November 2022.
The safe deposit box company on Fasanenstraße, in the same area, rents out more than 1,200 safe deposit boxes in a former private bank, including to an online watch retailer.
The retailer said more than half of its 2,000 watches stored there had been stolen, causing tens of €millions of financial losses.
