A shooting took place on the night of Sunday to Monday in the Brussels commune of Forest, Brussels-Midi police spokeswoman Sarah Frederickx said, confirming information published by SudInfo.
Brussels-Midi police officers were called at around 5 a.m. on Monday after shots were fired at a building in the Midi district. “Bullet holes were found, but no casualties were reported," Ms. Frederickx said in a press release. "The investigation is continuing and should also reveal the underlying motive.”
SudInfo had reported earlier that, the gunman, who was travelling on a scooter, had fired three shots at the front door of a retired couple’s house in Rue Saint-Denis.
