A second buyer has been found for the remaining 29 branches of Thomas Cook Retail Belgium, it was announced on Friday.
The buyer is a new company with ambitions in the tourism sector. It will take over the furniture of the agencies and also shows an interest in rental contracts. However, there is nothing in the agreement about the staff.
In mid-October, the Spanish company Wamos announced that 62 of the 91 travel agencies and nearly 200 of its 500 employees would be taken over by the former Thomas Cook Retail Belgium.
