Police in Liège have arrested a suspect following a fatal stabbing incident on Thursday night, the city’s public prosecutor’s office said, confirming a report by the fire department.
According to the prosecutor’s office one person died after being stabbed several times during a fight near the Maghin Bridge in Liège.
The deceased is a man born in 1997.
The Liège public prosecutor’s office confirmed the arrest of a suspect to Belga News Agency.
The investigation is continuing.
