Menstruositées,' an exhibition centred on menstrual awareness, will be held at the Brass cultural centre in Forest from 16 November to 3 December.

The exhibition, which will address the invisibility of menstruation and its impact on everyday life, is curated by sociologist Coralie Theys and Alice Conquand, co-founder of social innovation agency 'LUC Lab.'

At the heart of the event is the 'cabinet of menstruosities,' which displays a variety of objects, audio clips, illustrations, maps, and installations, all derived from testimonies, meetings, and workshops.

As society gradually lifts the taboo surrounding menstruation, the exhibition seeks to educate individuals about the experiences of menstruating persons. It hopes to heighten awareness and empower action on the subject.

Coralie recalled having conceived the exhibition more than a year ago as a platform to discuss menstruation and various aspects surrounding it.

Attendees are encouraged to bring clean, packaged sanitary towels in support of BruZelle, a Belgian association combating menstrual poverty. A collection box will be available at the event's entrance.

For secondary schools, exhibition tours followed by BruZelle-led activities can be organised by appointment.
