The Red Devils will face off against England in a friendly match at London’s Wembley Stadium on Tuesday, 26th March, in preparation for Euro 2024, the Belgian Football Union (URBSFA) announced on Monday.

This will mark the 36th clash between the two nations. The teams last faced each other on 15th November 2020, when the Red Devils secured a 2-0 victory in the Nations League group stage.

This will be the 36th meeting between the two nations. The last time they met was on 15 November 2020, when the Red Devils won 2-0 in the group phase of the Nations League.

This duel against the Three Lions, who currently occupy 4th place in the world rankings, will be part of the Red Devils' preparations - ranked 5th in the world - for Euro 2024 in Germany.

"England are a top nation and the kind of opponents that will prepare us well for the Euros." said coach Domenico Tedesco, quoted in the press release. "What's more, playing at Wembley is a dream come true for anyone who loves football. We're really looking forward to it. By facing such strong footballing nations, we will know better and see sooner where and how we can improve further to become a competitive team among the great contenders for the European title."

Belgium and England have both already qualified for the Euros. The Red Devils face Azerbaijan on November 19 at the Roi Baudouin stadium in their final qualifying match. Four days earlier, a friendly against Serbia is also scheduled in Brussels.

A second friendly is scheduled for the March international window. Before then, Belgium will find out their opponents in the Euro group stage at the draw on 2 December in Hamburg.
