Nearly 300 exhibitors expected at the Féeries du Parc in Ciney

The sixth edition of ‘Féeries du Parc’ will run on 7-11 December and 14-18 December at St-Roch Park in Ciney, Namur Province, featuring 287 exhibitors and cementing its status as one of the largest Christmas markets in Wallonia.

Since its inception, the event has continued to grow, with the number of exhibitors increasing from 19 in its inaugural year, to 180 in 2021 and 270 in 2022. Despite this growth, 80% of the exhibitors are still artisans. The remaining 20% come from the hospitality sector.

This year, Santa Claus will be opening his house for visitors. He will greet guests from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. each day. Additionally, two pop-up restaurants will be operating, one more than last year.

Regular shuttle services will be provided for visitors from the covered market car park, which has a capacity of 4,000. This is to circumvent any mobility issues. On high-traffic days, this shuttle system will be stepped up.

The £5 parking fee awards a £1 reduction for the Féeries du Centre ice rink, operating from 1 December to 7 January at Place Monseu, while other parking options will also be available.

Visitors are urged to abide by these measures and avoid illicit parking.

Tens of thousands of visitors are expected to attend the event.
