The Walloon Government approved a €1.154 million grant on Friday for the ongoing renovation of Huy’s cable car.
This funding will enable the strengthening of two pylons and the replacement of a third, essential to the support cable’s upkeep.
Once a top tourist attraction in the city, Huy’s cable car has been out of service since 2012. Its revival will potentially pave the way for improved mobility.
In total, the Walloon Government has released over €5 million for this refurbishment plan.
