Train services between Brussels-Midi and Halle are disrupted due to local flooding in Buizingen, announced Belgium’s national railway company SNCB on Tuesday afternoon.

Flooding near the tracks has temporarily halted services at Buizingen station.

An underpass at the station is said to be waterlogged, stated an SNCB spokesperson. "Trains are proceeding with caution but cannot stop there."

Firefighters are on the scene, working to remove the excess water.

SNCB has advised passengers travelling to Buizingen to instead travel via Halle and to take one of De Lijn’s buses (Bus 810, 153 or 154) using their train ticket.
