Tomorrowland’s ticket presale for Belgian citizens began on Saturday at 11:00, and sold out in under half an hour.
Around 200,000 tickets, spread over the two festival weekends from 19 to 21 July and 26 to 28 July, were snapped up by fans in less than half an hour.
High demand for ticket sales was anticipated for this 18th edition of the Boom-based dance festival. All prospective ticket buyers needed to register in advance, although this registration does not guarantee tickets.
Those still hoping to procure tickets must now turn to the global presale, occurring in two phases – later today (Saturday) at 17:00 and on 3 February.
Last week, a limited amount of tickets were sold to residents of Boom, Rumst, and the wider Rupel River area. Global Journey packages, designed for overseas visitors and inclusive of travel and optional hotel accommodation, have already sold out.
Line-up announced
Earlier in the week, Tomorrowland announced over a hundred names who will grace one of the festival’s 16 stages during either or both weekends.
Regular performers such as Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, David Guetta, and Tiësto, will be returning.
The reunited Swedish House Mafia, as well as Belgian techno stars Amber Broos and Amelie Lens, and popular German collective Keinemusik will be making their Tomorrowland debut.
Lastly, tickets going on presale on Saturday are priced at €304 for a combo ticket and €129 for a one-day pass.
