A man was severely injured in a knife attack on Friday morning in the Antwerp district of Deurne, according to local police.
The alleged attacker, reportedly involved in a dispute with the victim, a neighbour, has been detained.
The incident occurred around 07:00. The victim, a 29-year-old man, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Subsequently, a 22-year-old suspect was arrested by police. He is believed to be the neighbour of the victim.
Forensics from the police technical and scientific laboratory commenced their investigation at the scene.
