Dour Festival unveiled 51 more acts on Wednesday, almost completing the line-up for this year's edition taking place from 17 to 21 July.
This year features a secret collaboration between NTO and Sofiane Pamart, L'Entourloop, Nkisi, Vicky R, Billx and La Darude. The Walloon festival intends to continue its commitment as a diverse, discovery-driven event with an alternative ethos and a blend of styles and genres.
Around 200 artists and bands have now been announced of the total 250 that will grace Dour's eight stages this summer. Nearly 60 of them are Belgian artists. "We are keeping the door open for a few more additions before finalising the line-up," explained one of the festival's programme coordinators, Mathieu Fonsny.
Highlights include French electronic band Justice, Belgian DJ Amelie Lens, rappers Aminé, Ice Spice, Kaaris and SCH, guitarists from The Libertines and Sick Of It All, along with Zaho de Sagazan.
Local band Ganja White Night, originating from the Mons region, will also make their return to Belgium after a few years of absence.
