Trains running between Brussels-Midi Station and Hal will be disrupted several times between now and 9 June.

Over six weekends, trains on this route will be replaced by buses (6 to 7 April, 13 to 14 April, 20 to 21 April, 4 to 5 May, 18 to 19 May, 1 to 2 June). This will also be the case on two public holidays: Labour Day on 1 May and Ascension Day on 9 May. The journey will therefore be considerably longer on these days.

During the same period, timetables will be adjusted and some trains cancelled.

The disruptions are due to a modernisation project that will replace 8 kilometres of railway tracks. Almost 14,000 beams and 10,000 tonnes of ballast will be replaced to guarantee the safety and continuity of rail traffic."

More information about the disruptions and the project is available on the SNCB website.
