Citizens with legal queries about issues such as neighbourhood disputes or employment contracts will be able to call a free phone line for guidance from 13 April, between 09:00 and 16:00.
This service is being organised by the Young Bar Association of Brussels, in conjunction with the French Order of Lawyers of the Brussels Bar.
The phone number, 02/882.40.00, connects callers to a lawyer who can either directly answer the question or guide them to a more specialised colleague. Throughout the day, over 80 volunteer lawyers will be available.
Back in April 2019, the previous edition of this service handled nearly 20,000 phone calls over two days.
